Sahara Experience is for everybody who loves adventure en wants to feel how it is to life short and powerful in the lovely wilderness of the Sahara. You can join the tour as a driver in a 4x4 jeep and as a motorbiker.

As a driver of a 4x4 you will participate in the tour in a Toyota Landcruiser. Within these you will drive between 150-200 kilometres a day on off-road terrain: sand dunes, rivers, mountain paths, stony paths en plains. You will be taught how to drive with a 4x4 wheel drive, how to drift in powdery sand and how to drive in the mountains. Experience in off-road driving isn’t a requirement but absolutely handy. Every jeep carries maximum 4 passengers.

Each jeep will drive autonomously but will meet the other jeeps en motors frequently. That will be during lunch and in the evening at the hotel. During the day there will be time to stop at oases, visit Berbers, villages etc.

Everybody who’s got his or her motor license can participate in Sahara Experience. Safety of the motorbiker always comes first. A good physical condition en some off-road experience is mostly advised. There’s nothing more beautiful than driving through the various nature of Sahara but a good preparation means half of your pleasure.

Depending on your experience you can drive on various motorbikes: KTM 450 en 525, Yamaha TTR and Honda CRF. Each tour knows three levels: beginners, adventure and advanced. Each level will be attended by a guide on motorbike.

Beginner

In this group there will be a lot of attention for dexterity on the bike, position and the way of driving on various terrains. This group will drive calmly, will stay together all the time and will stop frequently.

Adventure

This group will drive a nice speed. There will be enough possibilities to ask and try. This group stops when it’s necessary and stays together.

Advanced

The advanced group has got enough experience in off-road driving and will handle high speed. There will be space for playing and trying. This group will stop less often, but will just as the other groups drive within cooperation of each other. No solo adventures.

Your level will be determined in cooperation with the organisation but can be changed meanwhile if it’s too hard or to easy for you. Your pleasure in driving is most important for us within the most safe way.
