Motor
It’s not mandatory to have off-road experience, however Sahara Experience strongly advices each participant to do some off-road training. The tour has a lot of different tracks, which has all have to be driven differently. Therefore bike skills are very important. Also bear in mind that you will be riding a bike you’re not used to.

Off-road training
Because we advise some off-road experience, we can recommend you a training day- or weekend. Sahara Experience cooperates with an organisation that facilitates this on a track in Belgium. They will offer you the basic knowledge of driving off-road within a day or two. More information about this you’ll be offered after your booking.

Jeep
Off-road driving experience in a 4x4 jeep isn’t necessary but it could be handy. At the beginning of the tour you will be taught how to drive with 4x4.

For both vehicles having more experience means your pleasure within the tour will be bigger.

Some experience, well fitting gear and a good physical preparation will contribute to more safety on the motor, but above all to your pleasure on the tour.

Off-road motorbiking is not without risks. Safety counts above all so the organisation offers as much support as possible. Besides that, Sahara Experience expects that all their participants will take their own responsibility.
